SUMMARY:Ride to Beethoven's Ninth
DESCRIPTION:It’s Summer in the City!  Join us for an evening ride along the Charles River to the Hatch Shell.  The Boston Landmarks Orchestra will be performing Beethoven’s 9th Symphony and several other shorter works.   Details here:  https://www.thebostoncalendar.com/events/boston-landmarks-orchestra-beethoven-s-9th-symphony .   Bring a picnic supper if you’d like.  Program is scheduled from 7-9pm\, though the group can return earlier if we’d like.  And have lights on your bike\, as we may be coming back after dark. \nMeet at the Star Market on Austin St. in Newtonville\, and we’ll leave at 6pm.  This is a family-friendly\, “no-rider-left-behind” ride and all ages are invited\, but all young children must be accompanied by an adult.  Bike helmets are required.  18 miles roundtrip.  Be sure to check bikenewton.org for last-minute changes.
