DESCRIPTION:Join us for a group ride as two great local biking advocacy organizations — Biking Brookline and Bike Newton — team up for a nice loop that includes Waltham\, Watertown\, Cambridge\, Allston as well as Newton and Brookline\, the Auburndale Cove\, and a good piece of the Charles River Bike Path.  Meet at the Newton Free Library on Homer St. in Newton Center — be there by 10:00 am.  The Brookline group will meet us at the library and then we’ll proceed west on Commonwealth  Ave. to the Cove.  There will a stop in Watertown by the Charles River for a picnic lunch\, so bring a snack or lunch with you. \nThis is a family-friendly\, “no-rider-left-behind” ride and all ages are invited\, but all young children must be accompanied by an adult.  Bike helmets are required.   23 miles round trip.
