Group Ride – Fresh Pond

Star Market 33 Austin Street, Newtonville, MA

Starting in Newtonville, we'll ride to Watertown Sq., down Arsenal St. a bit, and then onto the new Watertown-Cambridge Greenway to Fresh Pond.  We'll loop around the Pond and head back on the trail or work our way to the Charles River back to Newton, if the group would like to go that route. Meet in front of the Star Market on Austin St, in Newtonville, and we’ll leave promptly at 2 pm. Group Ride to Chestnut Hill Reservoir

Join us for a pleasant ride around the Chestnut Hill Reservoir; a loop starting at the Library in Newton Center, heading out on Commonwealth Ave. to Cleveland Circle, around the reservoir and returning on Beacon Street.  A scenic ride, especially if you like the challenge of a couple of hills! Warm-up for the Tour de Newton

A loop from the Library via Parker St, Dedham St and Nahanton St to the Newton Community Farm (just a ride-by) and then through Nahanton Park and returning to the Library via Winchester and Walnut Sts. And we'll take in a little of Crystal Lake as well. Meet in front of the Newton Main library on Homer St. in Newton Center, and we’ll leave promptly at 6pm. Chinatown ride is back!   A nice ride along the Charles River, past the Public Gardens and through a bit of downtown Boston to Chinatown for a bite to eat.  We can get a tasty take-out DimSum brunch, or a Vietnamese banh mi sandwich and picnic in the park.  Riders have the option of either biking back to Newtonville with the ride leader or putting their bikes on the commuter rail from South Station. Group Ride – The Infinity Ride

An infinity-shaped loop starting in Newtonville, stretching west to Auburndale and east to the Chestnut Hill reservoir . Meet in front of the Star Market on Austin St. in Newtonville, and we’ll leave at 10:00 am. On the way back, the group is invited to stop at Pho Viet on Langley Rd for tasty Banh Mi sandwiches. This is a family-friendly, “no-rider-left-behind” ride and all ages are invited, but all young children must be accompanied by an adult. Bike helmets are required. Group Bike Ride – Decordova Museum Lincoln
