In 2026 on the Feb. 3, Bike Newton went to Beacon Hill to advocate for safer streets as part of MassBike’s Day of Action 2026. The focus this year was on to support Senate bill 2344 and House bill 3754: “An Act Relative To Traffic Regulation Using Road Safety Cameras.” Automated enforcement has been found to dramatically reduce the amount of speeding, reduce the amount of crashes and reduce the number of serious injuries and deaths from traffic. Numerous studies have proven this true. For more information, click HERE.
