Bike riders from BikeNewton and BikingBrookline will join forces this Saturday for a ride around the Charles river through Newton, Waltham and Boston.  BikingBrookline departs at 9:15am from Brookline High School.  Details here: https://www.bikingbrookline.org/grouprides

The Brookline contingent will then cycle up Commonwealth Ave and meet the Newton group at the corner of Comm Ave. and Walnut St. at 10:00 am.   Whether you are joining the ride in Brookline or Newton, please register here.  (If starting in Newton at 10am, answer “yes” to the related question.)     So let’s meet up in the carriage lane at the corner of Comm. Ave. and Walnut by 10am and we’ll take off for the rest of the loop with Brookline!  Map for the full ride right here:  https://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/4492826887

Total length for Newton riders, approx. 18 miles.   There will be a short lunch stop at Peter Gilmore Playground in Waltham, so bring something along, or we can stop in Waltham to pick something up.  This is a family-friendly, “no-rider-left-behind” ride and all ages are invited, but all young children must be accompanied by an adult.  Bike helmets are required.  Be sure to check bikenewton.org for last-minute changes.
