Newton Porchfest 2025 is here! SATURDAY, JUNE 7, 12-6pm: Auburndale-Newton Lower Falls-Waban Center-West Newton. It’s free and family friendly! Over 110 bands! Once again, Bike Newton will be leading “Tour de Porchfest”. We’ll start out with a couple of highly recommended musical stops, and then after that we can decide as a group where to go next. In other words, play it by ear! Meet in front of the Newton Main Library on Homer St. in Newton Center, and we’ll leave at 12:30. Our first stop will be 227 Melrose St. in Auburndale to see the “Monster Groove Band and the Killer Horns”, band #39. (They play 12-2pm) Then on to see the “First Light”, band #52, at 13 Aiden Place in West Newton. They start at 2pm. After that, consult your Porchfest maps and we’ll vote on where to go next!
This is a family-friendly, “no-rider-left-behind” ride and all ages are invited, but all young children must be accompanied by an adult. Bike helmets are required. Be sure to check bikenewton.org for any last-minute changes.
