Join us for a nice ride through Metrowest on the Mass Central Rail Trail, Charles River Path and local roads through Newton, Weston and Wayland. We are celebrating the renovation and re-opening of the railroad bridge near the Weston Waltham line. Read about it here: https://www.masscentralrailtrail.org/ To help celebrate, there will be a stop at Taqueria Mexico at 24 Charles St. in Waltham for a quick lunch. (For those riders who would prefer to ride directly back to Newtonville, there will a leader for that contingent.)
Meet in front of the Star Market at 33 Austin St. in Newtonville, and we’ll leave at 9:30 am, Saturday morning. This is a family-friendly, “no-rider-left-behind” ride and all ages are invited, but all young children must be accompanied by an adult. Bike helmets are required. 20 miles roundtrip. Be sure to check bikenewton.org for last-minute changes.
