It's October and that means it's time for Honk!  Festival of Activist Street Bands! Join us for a nice ride to Honk!   Starting in Newtonville, we'll go to Watertown Sq., then on the off-road bike path past Fresh Pond to Davis Square in Somerville.  We can have a bite to eat, see a few of the Honk! bands in the Davis Sq. area, and then head back.  How long we stay at Honk! can be determined by the group, but perhaps about one hour.   We can return either along the some route, or via Harvard Sq. and the Charles River bike path. LivableStreets Alliance is a wonderful nonprofit located in the Metro Boston area. They advocate for transportation solutions that are safe, affordable, and enjoyable.  Their goal is to make communities more connected and livable, and to dismantle invisible barriers that divide communities and people.  Tour de Streets is their most important annual fundraising event, featuring a walk, bike ride, and a celebration with food, drinks, + activities provided by local vendors!
