Bike Together Waltham (BTW) conducts group rides on the last Saturday of the month, and today we will join their ride, and meet and mingle with our biking compatriots in Waltham! We will depart from Star Market, 33 Austin St. in Newtonville at 11:30 am Saturday May 31, and bike along the Charles River Trail to Waltham City Hall where the BTW ride starts. The BTW ride then loops around the Warrendale neighborhood of Waltham, about five miles, and finishes on Moody St, where we will have lunch. We’ll then bike back along the Charles to Newtonville.
This is a family-friendly, “no-rider-left-behind” ride and all ages are invited, but all young children must be accompanied by an adult. Bike helmets are required. Total 11.5 miles roundtrip. Be sure to check bikenewton.org for last-minute changes or weather cancellations.
