Join us for an excellent group ride to the 46th Annual Wake up the Earth Festival in Jamaica Plain, taking place in the Southwest Corridor Park.  After taking a rest and getting a bite to eat there, we'll continue for a tour through Arnold Arboretum, and then head back to Newton.  You'll see how easy it is -- and fun -- to get to Jamaica Plain visit a cool outdoor festival, have a picnic and go to the Arboretum -- all without a car! Join us for a biking tour of the 2024 Newton Porchfest.  We'll start at the Library on Homer St. and visit a number of bands in Waban, Aurburndale and Lower Falls.  The whole tour is scheduled for about 5 hours; riders may bail out early and head home if they need to, or meet up during the ride at one of the stops.  Feel free to bring lunch, drinks, snacks.  Here is an outline of the planned route: Meet at Library 330 Homer St., prepare to leave at 12:30 pm Stop #1:   12:30 pm ride to Porch #23:   1608 Beacon St.  Band is: [...]
