Group Ride – Verrill Farm Blueberry Pancake Breakfast

We will bike down Route 117 through Waltham, Weston and Lincoln to the Blueberry Pancake Breakfast at the Verrill Farm in Concord - a special event to celebrate the blueberry harvest. Meet in front of the Star Market on Austin St. in Newtonville, and we’ll leave at 8:30 AM.  (A little earlier than usual to try to beat the heat.)  This is a family-friendly, “no-rider-left-behind” ride and all ages are invited, but all young children must be accompanied by an adult. Tour de Newton Retro Ride

We'll be following the course of the "Classic" Tour de Newton ride through all 13 villages (or most of them, anyhow!) Meet in front of the Star Market on Austin St. in Newtonville, and we’ll leave promptly at 9:00 AM.   This is a family-friendly, “no-rider-left-behind” ride and all ages are invited, but all young children must be accompanied by an adult. Taco Ride!

Join us for the first Bike Newton Taco Ride!  We will start in Newtonville, do a 9 mile route toWatertown, along the Charles River to Waltham, then back to Newton, and hit four Mexican restaurants along the way: Ixtapa in Watertown Square, Taqueria Mexico and Paisano's in Waltham, and La Tate in West Newton. The 2019 Tour de Newton

"The Magical Mystery Tour Continues” We had so much fun last year with the mysteries along the way and the rally at city hall.  Tour de Newton 2019 will have routes starting in 4 villages – Newton Centre, West Newton, Newtonville and Waban + City Hall. All routes will rendezvous at Newton City Hall on Commonwealth Ave to celebrate.  In addition, there will be a Petite Tour and Contra Tour leaving from City Hall. All routes will begin at 9AM and travel to several other villages, experience fun surprises, see hidden Newton treasures and then lead to an 11AM rally at Newton City Hall [...]

Group Ride to Chestnut Hill Reservoir

Join us for a pleasant ride around the Chestnut Hill Reservoir; a loop starting at the Library in Newton Center, heading out on Commonwealth Ave. to Cleveland Circle, around the reservoir and returning on Beacon Street.  A scenic ride, especially if you like the challenge of a couple of hills! An infinity-shaped loop starting in Newtonville, stretching west to Auburndale and east to the Chestnut Hill reservoir . Meet in front of the Star Market on Austin St. in Newtonville, and we’ll leave at 10:00 am. On the way back, the group is invited to stop at Pho Viet on Langley Rd for tasty Banh Mi sandwiches.
