Group Ride – Norumbega Viking Tower

Join us for a nice bike ride to the Norumbega Viking Tower in Weston.  Starting at the Newton Main Library in Newton Center, we'll make a loop that winds through the back roads and trails of Weston and Waltham, and visit the site of the ancient Viking citadel. Join us for a nice ride from Newtonville to Fresh Pond in Cambridge using the Watertown Branch rail trail, around much of the Pond, then to Harvard Square and back along the river to Newton.  We could stop for coffee in Harvard Sq. if the group would like to on the way back. Join us for a Bike Newton WinterFEST ride on Sunday at 4PM! This will be a short loop 3 mile loop from Newton Centre to Newton Highlands and back. This is part of Newton Community Pride's first annual WinterFEST next weekend! See below for more details on the ride and the weekend. Join us for a revisit ride of the traditional Tour de Newton route -- and a preview of the next T-de-N coming up in the Fall!  We'll ride through several Newton villages in this 20.5 mile tour.   Meet at the Star Market on Austin St. in Newtonville and we'll leave at 9:30am, heading towards West Newton first.  Total should be about 2.5 hrs. Ride to Beethoven’s Ninth
