A group ride to attend the opening day of Honk Fest 2022 in Davis Sq. Join us for a nice harvest-time ride past the farms and fields of Needham, Dover and South Natick.  Starting at the Newton Main Library in Newton Center, we’ll make a loop that winds through several scenic back roads and trails, and along parts of the Charles River, with a few stops here and there to check out the view. It's been a long time, but the Chinatown ride is back!   A nice ride along the Charles River, past the Public Gardens and through a bit of downtown Boston to Chinatown for a bite to eat.  We'll go for a taste of Dim Sum at the large and airy Empire Garden, or similar venue.  Riders have the option of either biking back to Newtonville with the ride leader or putting their bikes on the commuter rail from South Station. This is not a long ride, but you'll get some good exercise going up and down those hills on Commonwealth Ave. and Beacon St.,  as we ride from the Library on Homer St., around the Chestnut Hill Reservoir at Cleveland Circle, then back to Newton Center before heading to the Library.
